(CHICAGO) November 3, 2017 –– NAMA announced today that Dick Atnip of Atnip Co., Inc. and Stu Case of Avanti Markets will be inducted into the NAMA Coffee Services Hall of Fame at the Coffee Tea and Water show on Monday, November 6 in Grapevine, Texas.

The Hall of Fame, which debuted in 2016, honors industry pioneers previously recognized with awards from The National Beverage Products Association and the National Coffee Service Association, as well as those who’ve received NAMA’s Coffee Legend and Industry awards for the coffee services channel. Atnip and Case join the inaugural class of 2016 with this recognition.

Atnip’s convenience service career began in 1958 while he was a student at University of San Francisco. He founded the Southern California-based Atnip Company in 1962, today it serves 11 western states. Atnip was named to the NAMA Board in 1997 and became NAMA Chair in 2004, the first supplier to do so. He has been recognized as a NAMA Industry Person of the Year and by the California Automatic Vending Council (CAVC) for his leadership. He has also served as CAVC president.

Case’s career has spanned more than 30 years. Before his role as Western Regional Micro Market Expert for Avanti Markets, Case owned Horizon Coffee and Vending Services, co-owned Pacific Brokerage and was a regional manager for Burdette Beckman. He has been recognized as a NAMA Allied Member of the Year, and currently serves as Chair of NAMA’s Coffee Services Committee and the 2017 Coffee Tea and Water show. Case has been an active member of CAVC and the Northwest Automatic Vending Association, and has received awards from each.

Atnip and Case will be inducted into the Coffee Services Hall of Fame during the opening session of CTW at 1:00pm on Monday, November 6.
